MAG IAS at EMO 2007

MAG Industrial Automation Systems (MAG IAS) is exhibiting 45 machines and systems in its 3600 square meter (nearly 40,000 sq. ft.) exhibit at EMO Hannover, September 17-20, 2007. 

MAG IAS was founded in 2005 and since 2006 has been counted amongst the major companies in machine tool manufacture. Last year, 4300 employees achieved revenues of approximately 1.5 billion USD. MAG companies are organized in five groups:

  • MAG Powertrain (Cross Hüller, Ex-Cell-O and Lamb) supplies agile manufacturing systems and transfer lines primarily to the automobile industry.
  • MAG Advanced Technologies (MAG Cincinnati Automation, MAG Cincinnati Machine, MAG Fadal, MAG Giddings & Lewis and MAG Hüller Hille) develops solutions for high-speed processing, automation and test systems for the aerospace and power generation industries. It also supplies carousel turning machines and horizontal machining centers.
  • MAG Special Machines (MAG Boehringer, MAG +FMS+, MAG Hessapp, MAG Turmatic Systems and MAG Witzig & Frank) manufactures horizontal and vertical turning machines, crankshaft machines, multi-station machining systems and automated rotary transfer machines for highly precise, high-performance applications.
  • MAG Maintenance Technologies is a unique global service and support organization that stands for the longevity and greatest possible return on industrial products.
    Infimatic produces and programs individually configurable machine control systems which make it possible to exploit the full potential of machines.
